Soil Erosion Prevention is the method by which the soil erosion is prevented. Total number of methods USPTO has granted is 19 patents. Some of those methods are given below.

Patent no: 4,227,829 titled ‘Soil erosion prevention blocks’ with the abstract : The invention relates to a device for use in controlling soil erosion comprising a matrix of cellular concrete blocks, having foliage growth passageways therethrough, and held together by a series or system of cables or the like passing through internal passageways within each block. The cables are anchored into the ground to retain the blocks in position.

Patent no: 5,575,584 titled ‘Underwater soil erosion prevention system’ with the abstract: An underwater soil erosion prevention system has a generally rectangular length of material folded at regularly spaced intervals at an angle generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rectangular length of material, thereby forming sheets. Each sheet contains slits which are generally perpendicular to the fold. The slits begin above the bottom edge of the sheet and terminate below the top edge of the sheet. The sheets contain openings sized to snugly receive an anchor line on either side. To aid in deploying the soil erosion prevention system, an inflatable rollable array with a receiving valve is provided. The array can be rolled together with the underwater soil erosion prevention system, and when ready for deployment, a fluid is controllably inserted into the array through the receiving valve, thereby causing the array and system to unroll. Alternatively, the underwater soil erosion prevention system can be releasably attached to a frame mechanism to facilitate deployment underwater.

Patent no: 5,860,770 titled ‘Method of soil erosion control’ with the abstract: A composition is provided to control soil erosion and for conditioning soil to prevent fugitive dust and stabilizing roadway surfaces. the composition contains monomeric resins, enzymes, surfactants and water. The composition can be sprayed onto the soil or admixed and distributed with the soil and followed by compacting with a roller or pneumatic compactor.

Patent no: 4,071,400 titled ‘Method for controlling soil erosion’ with the abstract: Erosion of soil is inhibited by forming a wind and rain resistant mat thereon by the method whereby a water soluble cellulose ether is dispersed in a latex containing at least 2.0 percent solids of an interpolymer of an alkenyl aromatic monomer, a conjugated diolefin and an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an organo sulfonate; the composition diluted, plant fibers dispersed therein and the so formed dispersion deposited on the soil in the form of a covering layer.

Patent no: 4,893,682 titled ‘Rotating flexible implement for soil erosion control’ with the abstract: An agricultural implement having a mobile mounting frame for moving across an area to be treated, and a soil working assembly co-operating with the mounting frame. The soil working assembly includes a flexible chain of interconnected links, the chain being rotatable about its axis and having blades extending from the chain. The blades are adapted to penetrate gravitationally, scoop hollows from, the soil as the implement is advanced rotating the chain over the soil. The implement reduces undesirable consequences of rapid and unimpeded run-off of rain water by upturning the soil in such a manner that run-off is impeded.
