The trademark name also known trading name or business name is the name which a business trade under for commercial purposes, although its registered, legal name used for contracts and other formal situation.
Trade name is also used in the pharmaceuticals industries, which often has dissimilar chemical names. The name must be distinctive and distinguishable on the record from previous registration.
The trademark name can be filed in the office of the secretary of the state. The office will search its database similar names on file. The trademark name is not officially approved until the application and fees are received by the office and the proposed mark/name is being reviewed for the conflicts with the existing trademarks.
The brand or the trademark are sometimes regarded or registered as the trademark name or the trading name.
