3 RED LIGHT FIX

The xbox 360 3 red lights problems as well known as the xbox 360 itself.

How to  avoid or get rid of the 3 red lights problem? This article discusses how to avoid the problem in the first part.

Xbox 360 gets the 3 red lights is through overheating and if you keep the console in an enclosed area without much ventilation then you are running a very high risk of getting the 3 red lights.

Do not put a cover on the Xbox 360 so  it can get lots of air all around it as the console is full of high end components that give out a lot of heat and the 3 red lights is caused by the motherboard bending due to this.

The power brick that comes with the Xbox 360 has little fans inside that pump out the heat and you can make this more effective by raising it up on a cardboard box so the hot air can go out of the system and cool air from the surroundings can come in to avoid the problem. So make sure that your power brick is raised up off the floor.

You may also use an additional cooling device like the Nyko Intercooler and this plugs into the back of the Xbox and pumps air out so to stop the overheating, so instead of just one fan working,  with the intercooler you get three.

If you are already suffering from the Xbox 360 3 Red Light problems then you have two choices.  Send it back to Microsoft and they will fix it for you in about 3 – 4 weeks, or search around for an Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix guide as there are a lot of these fix it yourself guides being sold online.
